I have had a soft spot for the character of Superman for 15+ years, now. So much so that I have a backlist of comics from 1938 to the early 1960's and beyond (not single issue... if I had Action Comic #1 on hand, I would retire now) on my bookshelves and i still read any and all as they release each month.

Christopher Reeve would be a top contender on my list for all he did to bring Superman to the screen. However not the first portrayal, it is arguably the most notable.

I would love to ask about the impact the charactder has made on on him and society. It's one of most widely known characters/symbols in existence.

Questions like:

- Do you think society needs Superman more now than it did when you first played him? Why?

- Did carrying the image of the character make you feel you had a responsibility to live up to his representation?

- So many love Superman because he is someone with incredible power that still chooses compassion, humility, and service above all. What has that taught you about holding power?

Oh, I like this angle! A fictitious character. How crazy is it that we watched the Christopher Reeves Superman last night. We have been binging Superman and Lois. It’s actually really good.

I'd like to nominate Martin Luther for the list

He definitely should be on there. It’s so hard to narrow down especially if you want a spread. I reached further back for some of those voices but Luther arguably did more for the church than most.
